Ausroad’s All New Powder Spreader takes precision to the next level. This premium vehicle is engineered for efficient, high precision material distribution. It has been specifically designed to improve application of dry cement or hydrated lime powder (and blends) to the ground surface in a controlled and even spread for road construction, soil stabilisation, or ground improvement work.

The Powder Spreader truck features a built in intuitive touchscreen control panel inside the cabin, providing the operator with real-time adjustment of spread rates based on ground speed and specific project requirements.

This unit uses an air-bed system in the base of the wedge-shaped hopper to secure smoother flow and distribution of the powder. This system injects high-flow (650 cu/ft/min), lowpressure (4 psi) air into the powder, lifting and separating the fine particles, while breaking up the cohesion. This process is called FLUIDISATION, as it causes the powder to behave like a free-flowing fluid.

Fluidisation ensures smooth and consistent flow of the powder to the discharge spreader boxes at the rear of the truck. It also helps prevent bridging, minimises moving parts, and allows full discharge of the load, ultimately resulting in a significant reduction of waste.
